Joe, Them boys in Hong Kong got to be going crazy, down 15%, again, and their day is only 2 hours old. I don't think Nikkei is a good indicator as to how bad things are in Asia tonight since there are so many cross share holdings that will be sat on. If things don't turn while we sleep its going to be deep kimshee come morning.

A few of my long friends are afraid to look at closing prices tonight, much less tomorrow, say about noon. I can't understand why since they were up so far to start with, unless they went and bought dips, too. -g-

I don't know about buying index puts now, if the decline stalls or turns a bit they will lose half the fear air that has just been pumped in. Two weeks ago (or even this morning) would have been perfect! -vbg-
