The state has been on revenue starvation diet for 30 years. There are many people in CA still paying 1980 property taxes.

California tax revenue is 8% above the US average.

That seems like a reasonable rate of taxation and revenue.

Do you know what that does to your revenue stream? But keep talking about unions.....it makes for an interesting sound byte.

If taxation is not a problem, and the state is near bankruptcy, the problem is with spending. And spending is where the unions are. Your recent post on unionization uptick in California just means that the state is heading to even deeper trouble.
