100B just in Afghanistan....there is just no willingness to stop spending; to cut the deficit...

To live within our means based upon production and what we export...and this is why the dollar regime is about to be taken down!

It is like money grows on trees. We think the banks are in trouble; that is the least of our worries...it is the ability of the government to pay its bills that is reaching the zero hour.

This is the problem; it is as much about stopping spending and living within our means; but the Hill does not seem willing.

If we cannot find buyers of our debt do folks understand what happens?

Government must shut down. Or sell gold (we have none as it has all been stolen and shipped offshore) and other assets or slash and burn. All will hammer the economy and markets!

What's happening with corporate spreads the past few days? How about junk bonds?
