Big Bucks, cash is king in slowdowns..if 1998/99 slows..they will need cash to continue the high level of R&D. The last thing they want to do is buy their stock and lower cash reserves.

The US markets need to break this Global market tailspin soon.
Joe Battapaglia from Gruntel on CNBC came out and said that he felt the markets would open much lower and close up by the end of day.
I hope so.

By the way this is about the only active thread on SI. Where did everyone go? just like buyers today.
