The market price was 2/3s or less of what it had been. There was nothing I could do. The market is what the market is. Bob, that is what my family does not understand. They seem to think there is some intrinsic value to the property, standing alone and without reference to the market. Hence, my suggestion they are economic dunces. The property is worth what someone is willing to pay. In SE Michigan, at the moment, that ain't much.
