Martin: If this news keeps FTel above $6.00 on a down market, I will be very happy indeed. I hope it comes out at the first bell and not mid day, any news on the open will sure help. quote.yahoo.com^HSI&d=t

The promo for the IPO when we bought in stated they wanted to go with a price between 10-15 a share hoping to raise over 100 million for fnet. Assuming that is still the plan, and I think this is the point where Helen or Frank now need to make an appearance on the board to clarify, we would get at least a10-15 return on our investment not counting our holdings in FTEL. If this is going to be offered at 5-6 a share that would be quite a change(forgive the greed) and would at least warrant an explanation. Frank has been very straight with us so I tend to think we may loose a little in the translation from the meeting to the board. That concept was probably not one of his major thoughts tonight with everything going on. We will have to wait for clarification from the boss once he has had a chance to rest up from this trip.

I did get in today for 3k more shares ostensibly for day trading. After tonight's reports(many thanks to all who went) I am not certain what day in2004 I will sell those additional shares.
Snake, ESCI do look good as do STAX. It is tempting to buy some more if we get a rise to 15-20 on FTEL anytime soon. I think the big stocks with the best buys are as follow:
Johnson and Johnson
Intel
IBM(esp if it hits 85)
Zeneca
Bell South
Synovus

Please note my little hotel stock with a7.8% dividend held its own between 11-12 (JAMS)

All of these will become possibilities because of the people on this board and you for guiding me to this board. Man does that apple from Eve taste so good.
