Less, I'm sure both you and Ted are correct, except for Ted's ridiculous notion that social work is more important than producing widgets. Social workers serve an important function in society, and that function is rather hard to quantify for the purposes of accountability. Unfortunately liberals all too often look at the need for social services in black-n-white terms and therefore resist any challenge to their funding. Tenchusatsu

When you have mastered that let me know how you intend to keep the other 7 billion people alive and well, while producing nothing. Social workers collect checks without producing anything. The saving lives image is a myth. Most are hateful people who need clients who are failures to justify their wages. If you want to help people, get off you butt and be a model of productivity who encourages others to stand with you elbow to elbow in the struggle to contribute to the general well being of all. I think the person who is hateful is you......and it permeates all your interactions.
