Popular press reports from the slanted US News and World Report don't carry much weight for me. Why not use Gallop polls on the issue?

Whenever the issue is on the ballot, Americans vote similarly in just about every state. So, liberals have gone to activist judges to force their will on the electorate.

There's virtually no difference between gay marriage and polygamy. Both are lifestyle choices. And one could argue polygamy engenders the procreation of future generations of human beings, while homosexuality does not. In the case of incest, in some cultures it's common for first cousins to marry. The likely effect of gay marriage is to take us down a slippery slope to legalized polygamy. Marriage will be transformed into a variety of relationships, linking every conceivable combination.

However, first the left should convince their leader Obama. One of the few things I agree with him about.

I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman.
—Barack Obama, Saddleback Presidential Candidates Forum, August 17, 2008[1]

I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman.
