>>There's virtually no difference between gay marriage and polygamy. Both are lifestyle choices. And one could argue polygamy engenders the procreation of future generations of human beings, while homosexuality does not. In the case of incest, in some cultures it's common for first cousins to marry. The likely effect of gay marriage is to take us down a slippery slope to legalized polygamy. Marriage will be transformed into a variety of relationships, linking every conceivable combination.<<

There's quite a bit of difference between gay marriage and polygamy, and the whole "slippery slope" argument is just a red herring. In places where gay marriage has been legal for more than a decade, there is no movement to legalize polygamy or polyandry.

The procreation argument is silly, since there is no danger of the human race dying out, and the vast majority of us are heterosexual. Besides, it's not as if preventing gay people from marrying each other means that they will reproduce.

Oh, and by the way, being homosexual isn't a "lifestyle choice." People don't choose to be gay any more than they choose to be straight. I'm straight because women turn me on and men don't. My two lesbian cousins are lesbians for the same reason. It's as simple as that.

Everyone I know who is gay fought against acknowledging the fact, but ultimately they realized that it was just their nature.
