I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you, especially when you gyrate away from the point in question. For instance..

Bush Jr had a GOP majority in BOTH houses for 6 of his 8 years

I referred to the Clinton years, when the GOP Congress did keep spending somewhat under control. I specifically said nothing about Bush or his GOP Congress because their profligate spending was disgusting.

Reagan did get Congress to cut taxes, which set the stage for a strong economic recovery, but failed to get them to curtail spending increases.

Are you blind or just mentally challenged? ONCE AGAIN, PRESIDENTS DO NOT RAISE OR LOWER TAXES, CONGRESS DOES.
