I got pulled over by a cop for speeding the other day with two latinos accompanying me. I was not speeding. I said is there any way out of this? He asked for a propina (tip) of 400 pesos. I said Senor that is corrupt and I refuse to comply he then took my driver's license and said I have to go to a certain place to get a compliance ticket, another place to get it stamped and another place to pay it. I said OK senor.

What the good senor did not know it was a fake driver's license that he took as I made ten of them on a color copier before I came from Canada.

What surprised me the most about the corrupt cop was the two latinos that work for me just accepted it as the way things are done here.

All of Latin America is corrupt and you should get down on your knees at night and thank God in heaven the Anglos don't let you return to the time of the Aztecs.
