Those are the California Jury Instructions. Check out CACI 100, which tells the jurors to confine themselves to the evidence presented and not to allow prejudice or sympathy to enter into their decision.

Judges are bound by the same rules.

Before the election I was having a discussion with a liberal friend about Socialism. I told her I believed Obama was going to socialize our nation and that this could potentially create millions of dependent citizens and increase the size of welfare.

She pooh poohed the idea as impossible and said he was more interested in "equality for all" but then turned around and said that would be "such a bad thing."

These are the limits of liberal thinking.

They struggle to correct wrongs by legislating only what can be seen, and seem incapable of looking any further. So they pass laws in a frivolous and hurried manner to correct some unfavorable human condition without giving any thought to future consequences.

Think Freddi/Fannie!

The insult arises when they "see" the bad results of their actions and tell us they need to remain in power so they can repair their earlier decision.

It goes on and on and on!
