I took an outstanding motorcycle ride in Idaho today. Left Walla Walla for Lewiston at 7:00 am. Arrived at 9:00 am, had breakfast at Rusty's and then went up to watch my daughter, who was taking the motorcycle safety course at Lewis & Clark State College. Thereafter, we left Lewiston and headed for Orofino, but turned off for Cottonwood before getting there. Headed to Grangeville on the Camas Prairie for lunch, then dropped down to track along the South Fork of the Clearwater. That river is running! It was so impressive. Did 0.5 miles short of 400 miles today, door to door, over 13 hours. I'm tired! This is the route: Ride to Idaho and Back 0.5 miles short of 400 miles for the day. Temps hit 96 degrees.
