It should be a given that judges have empathy. All Obama said was that he wanted judges with emapthy. So why is the right wing having a hizzy fit? The point of course is that the right wing supreme court over and over and over show a lack of empathy by the decisions they make. Right now, Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito fail to exhibit proper emapthy to anyone who is watching carefully. Obama has been watching carefully. Did you know Rhenquist graduated 1st in his class at Stanford law, but also advised against integration when he was a law clerk for justice black I believe? Scalia and Rhenquist have always een easy to see for the sociopathic personalities they exhibit. I admit alito and Robertts cover their lack of empathy up better. But that of course is a traite of the sociopathic personality i.e. the aiblity to deceive. Scalia hates the John Stewart show. Never watches it. I find that very interesting as Stewart is very smart and certainly has empathy. So I wonder why Scalia dislikes the show so much?? And anyone who was in favor of segregation in the middle of the last century had something wrong with them and sure as hell was not qualified to be a supreme court justice.
