Let's get one thing clear......I have forgotten more than you know. And yes, I know about WW I. We didn't need to be in that war and waited until the absolute last minute before getting in. The Allies would have beaten the Central powers eventually.....without the US's active participation. "I am sick of it and I think thats why this country is in decline now." FYI...this country is not in decline other than in the minds of nitwits like you. Yeah, it is dude. That's what you pinheads just don't get. You fools don't have a frigging clue. Japan and Europe build small cars not because they like small cars. They built small cars because they had to import their oil like we do now. LIKE WE DO NOW! At one time we had lots of oil but putzs like you encouraged the wasting of that oil. And now we're fukked. And all your boys do is complain about small cars and hybrids and how they will never drive one. Well all I can say to that is get over it! In fact America's unbridled capitalism, the favorite plank of the right, has left us with very little oil while managing to make the rich assholes in your party even richer. And its not just all our oil that's gone.....so many of our mineral resources have been plundered in the name of capitalism. Without resources, we are worth much less. Plus, our manu. base is too expensive and so we are unable to compete on that level with the rest of the world. All we have left is our ability to invent and to provide services. And so now we have to stay at the front of the innovative curve so we don't slide too far from the top. Given your fascination with Europe and you disgust with this country.....I just don't understand why you don't move there. You leave freak. You are not what this country needs. You and your ilk are the problem. Get out of our way. I am tired of you all......trying to get along with you all is trying to get along with cavemen.

You know what you also don't get, sunshine. China owns us. That's right we let one of our enemies buy up our debt so that your Mr. Bush could spend like a drunken cowboy. And you have the unmitigated gall to go around this thread acting like you are some big shot authority when I don't think you understand squat. I don't think you understand what it means that China is holding American paper......I don't think you understand what the brouhaha is about re. CDOs. I don't think you understand that our military spending is killing us. I think you think its a lot of BS and it will all go away some day. Well sunshine, that ain't about to happen. So get used to it.
