That is such nonsense. So why do the African Americans vote over 90% for dems in every election? Becasue they have been they have tried to help them out. And they needed help to free thme from the crackers in the south who were always making their life hell. And the right wing is about to lose the hispanic and womnes vote with their bigotry. Obam set a trap for them with sotomayor and they walked right into it. They just cannot lose their bigotry. What the right wing has never been able to get through their heads is that our societie's bigotry e.g. slavery, segregation, and sexism, caused geat damage to those micro cultures and our society owes it to those folks to make repaations so they can get back on their feet. Very convenient to say: "I didn't do anthing, so I don't owe anybody anything. That type of thinking is what we liberals intend to end. IT WAS ILLEGAL TO EVEN TEACH BLACKSTO READ for a long time!!! YOU don't think jsut maybe that hurt their culture?! And you do not think society owes the African American culture a leg up. YOu sound like Senator James Inhofe, Chambliss, Kit bond and jeff Sessions and that is not a compliment. >> The liberal community creates status based on race and is guilty of all kinds of bigotry with regards to class, gender, race, and creed. It does this by stratifying groups and identify groups for protection, for movement ahead of others, or for outcast status. Harmony among people is never achieved by attaching sacred status to a particular political view point. A principled view point, tempered by good conscience, usually seats one in the peaceful eye of the political hurricane. Some times that leads to liberal innovations and sometimes it leads to conserving things of value.<<

What has Obama and his policies to do with liberalism etc. Obama talks about his faith like the religious folks would like him to do. He talks about his opinion that marriage is between a man and a woman like the religious folks believe. And he also believes in Govt. sponsored programs like the liberals want him to. Do you call him a conservative? Do you call him a liberal? Do you call him a confused person? I consider him to be a pragmatic person. Wouldn't you?
