There is a saying "like a frog in a pond", which means that the frog thinks the entire world is just that pond. This saying reflects a narrow minded person who has never been outside the small environment he lives. An example is Joe the Plumber, an opinionated outspoken person, who has a narrow perspective of a small town where he lives. This is the base of right wing conservatives/neocons.

You need to travel to other countries and learn how they live and learn the culture, the politics, the priorities etc. I just returned from a seven European country trip. Although I did expect that the dollar has declined in value, I never thought that Euro is much superior than our almighty greenback. Vendors in Russia prefers the Euro by giving 1.5 to 1 against the dollar. Yes, the small vendors do accept Dollars, Pound and Euro instead of Rubble.

No, I don't. I see two parties hell bent on continuing American imperialism in order to fatten the coffers of the elite...at all cost.

i will ask you, is there a difference between the brass and the strings in the orchestra? yes, but they are playing from the same sheet music and the same siren song of war, war, war.
