They had committed no crimes that we know of. I know I've explained it to you in the past. Crime has nothing to do with it. 9/11 was a direct result of one thing more than any other -- the determination of the Clinton administration to treat terrorism as a "crime". Had Bill Clinton (and for that matter, Bush in the 7 months before 9/11) realized we were at war, it would have been stopped. Now, Obama is foolishly reverting to the Clinton administration policy that caused 9/11. Which includes treating terrorists as criminals. The official policy of this nation, until Jan 21 of this year, was that we were at war against ALL TERRORISTS. Nobody is debating that these guys were terrorists. There is disagreement as to whether they were acting against the United States, but that simply wasn't an important distinction under the Bush Doctrine. This incompetent action on the part of the Obama administration will result in American deaths. Sooner or later. I'm not altogether sure that isn't Obama's true objective.
