Makes no difference, stocks, oil, you name it. Correct predictions are tough, and most likely right about 50% of the time

On that first chart of oil. If you sold it when it broke it's uptrend channel, and bought it when it broke it's downtrend channel , you would have made huge.
This is hindsight of course but nonetheless that is fairly basic chart trading and it worked perfectly on oil.
