Well Steve, from where I sit, the advantage is all in favor of the Zionists in this country. Our government gives them cover, vetos UN criticism, we see almost nothing in our press about what they make life like for the Pals. All this is because of dual-loyalty Jews in this country (what should I call them?), starting with AIPAC, whom our pols of both parties pander to constantly. Yet, ALL American Jews ( even the non-Zionists ) comprise only 5% of the voting public. So, why is it they have SO much clout? As an American with only one loyalty, I'd like to see our policies toward Israel change radically. No money, no spare parts for the military hardware we've given them, until they start obeying international law, remove the settlements, checkpoints, military outposts and return ALL land that belongs to the Pals BACK to the Pals. They should have NO say in whether refugee Pals return to the state of Palestine. Israel has a right to exist, behind the Green Line.
