Pete, if my theory is right and IF liquidity is the problem, we will turn-around and lose 300 easy at the close. Fingers crossed.

Pete, <<somebody is making (or losing) alot of money >>
Both, perhaps. But the question, are they gonna keep it? Fraid not.

Pete, with all the bouncing around today, somebody is making (or losing) alot of money

Just heard on CNBS that they talked to ML and Smith Baloney and the brokers are saying the markets are so fast and overloaded that they can't confirm order fills - even after 3 hours! Sounds like a great way for specialists and MM's to make money - imagine being told "we are sure you got filled on your DELL order somewhere between 73 1/4 and 89. We can probablly let you know tomorrow." -g-

Now that's going to make people real comfortable with market efficiency. At least they can get through to their full service brokers, unlike yours truly.

Regards, Dan
