"And the alleged translation from you German wife - how old was she when she left Germany, 10?"

No, she was 29. Trained to teach at a Gymnasium, chemistry and math. She came from a long line of teachers. She was born in Hamburg, grew up in Cuxhaven.

Again, I am sure your German is much better.

"Schmuck" is a pice of Jewelry, no more, no less. Unless you communicate in Yiddish, that is

Here is the translation for schmuck by a online German dictionary. There are several definitions one of which is the addornment......the best definition...... and another is a piece of jewelry.....the sixth definition:

Apparently, CJ's wife's German is better than yours.......I am not sure how that can be......but I am sure its a fluke and it won't happen again.

CJ, tell your wife to not let this go to her head! Please!
