What bothers many on this thread about the RW is their complete inability to ever see the left in a fair light- or see it as non-monolithic. I do not want to see us make the same mistakes about the right- We are just going to have to disagree on this. There is a difference between the right and the left when it comes to diversity. The left is very diverse as it embraces all ethnic groups - or sexual groups for that matter. Increasing the republicans have become the party of old white haired men. The intolerance of the right - is heightened by talk radio - and then nut cases are able to justify in their mind insane acts and act out. Why not stand up and act out against this hatred? .......Does that mean all republicans are racist or extremist - of course not. But then these good people need to stand up and shout out the wrongs of talk radio and the hate it pushes. steve
