NG is the economy's miracle river card.

I admit to a weakness in watching these poker shows particularly the ones on Sunday night on a DISH station named GAME

Anyway there is this character named Gus Hansen. He almost always bets big no matter what his hand. That puts a lot of pressure on the others as they are almost sure he's bluffing but do they really want to risk that much on a pair of jacks?

Anyway it seems like whenever they do call his frequent and outlandish bluffs, he seems to always land a miracle river card and win the hand anyway.

Kind of like the US economy. We bet everything on all kinds of nonsense (high rise condos-you name it).

But we've hit that miracle river card. Shale NG. Gus Hansen would bet it but will we?

No matter how it all shakes out in the economy, it you just substitute the effect of "rebounding gasoline prices" with cheap NG fueled transportation, we're going to end up significantly better off.
