I'm not far enough away that someone at the doctor's might have mentioned it, which they HAVEN'T. Because it's not their JOB. Why would anyone mention Medicare? Who doesn't know they have Medicare available to them when they turn 65? Which is why I've never heard the word Medicaid from their lips. Have you ever indicated you wanted to see your doctor but had no insurance and no way to pay? There are few clinics that wouldn't bring this up, assuming they see Medicaid patients.
