Joe Klein said today that the thinks that the presidential dispute on who won by what margin masks a larger internal power stuggle going on between the head ayotollah and other clerics who dislike him and want to move in a different direction. More like a change may be coming in politburo but the state continues the way it is under new mgt. Nuke policy according to klein is not the issue according to klein.

I agree that there is some internal bickering going on among the mullahs and that's the real issue......but what's making this more and more unpredictable is the reaction of the Iranian people. Every day more and more people are joining the demonstrations. And every day, more and more Iranians feel empowered. I have to believe that that will lead to more changes than the mullahs were planning on.
