"Maybe so but ... " No maybes or buts about it. "...you are by no means an arbiter of such stuff." Of course I am. I revere the truth as a sacred and uncompromisable construct. Fundamental in language and in social function, essential to the trust held by one person to others. The extent to which you may rely on the integrity of other persons is the extent to which you are bound to them in membership, and this is specifically measured by trustworthiness. When you display a disregard for truth you also declare your self to be unworthy of such trust. I am quite capable of witnessing to such stuff and judging it for what it is.
