There is no vaccine for Hep C or for HIV for that matter.Thousands of health care workers who have already contacted Hep B on the job will die over the next decade.I will take malaria or dengue any day.Pilots are sissies!

Why savage capitalism is civilized and civilized capitalism is savage. That explains why one guy is taxed, and his income hit a ceiling while others are taxed on a way that preserve their higher wealth.

Government intervention will use money of some individuals to fund their programs. That money must come from somewhere. It comes usually from the middle class.

The top class have power to leave their money intact (that is why we have old money). The middle class cannot protect their money as efficiently as the top class.

Under pure savage capitalism circumstances the top class tries to arrest all capital to itself. But it knows that that capital must provide a return. Thus it needs to return that capital to the economy to get a return.

They know -discovered after many previous experiments- that: "Men are less motivated to work under compulsion than under laissez-faire—since coercion limits their pursuit of their own interests. Moreover, interventionism forces men to conform to the values and goals of those in command—objectives disagreeable to the subjects themselves. Finally, by subordinating some people’s interests to those of others, state intervention distorts or outright destroys the social cooperation so crucial to a sound economy."

We reach freedom via self interest. Not because those in command doled it out.

Freedom being an end result per se, it is necessary to fine tune freedom for one group's special interest.

The governing elites -any governing elite anywhere- success depends on how much they can let the nation be free at the same time not relinquishing their power and their money.
You can try the US way. Or you can try the Iranian way.
The end result is the same, although the mechanisms are tottaly different.

All countries are propaganda coups. Brazil talks about freedom and the people belive it. US talks about freedom and the people believe it. Both coups are successful.

And if you put a normal Brazilian taking with a normal American they will articulate which system is better than the other based on the propaganda they have bought.

The success of a governing elite is measured by how their population buy into that propaganda.
