RW, from an entrepreneurial mindset, I think Michelle Obama's effort to promote volunteerism is a stroke of genius.

Too many unemployed people are relying on Monster.com or listed jobs to find work, as if the jobs are just going to come to them. This is one aspect of Japan's lost decade that we really shouldn't emulate.

By volunteering, people who are unemployed can get off their behinds and find opportunities on their own. I believe they're out there.

How dare these people interfere on the local level. We are a Republic with strong states' rights. They have no business pulling a stunt like this one.
