Fair enough but if you keep asking for clarification there comes a point where you seem to be using a Clintonian dodge in an effort to avoid something that is making you uncomfortable or do not want to acknowledge. I don't know why it's so hard for a Roman Catholic to admit that there is a personal God who Created the universe? Anyway, There are young earth, literal six day creationists and there are old earth, long day/epoch creationists. I suppose there are some other sub groups as well. Even though the groups may differ on the timing, manner and speed that God created: they all agree that He did. Both groups are rightly and properly called Creationists. Now I realize that you probably only have one group in mind for the "wacko" label that you are so fond of but even your own sources acknowledge that the group called creationists is much wider than that. "What is a 'personal' god?" Catholicism has always held that God (with a capital G btw) is a personal (actually tri-personal) being. A personal God is one that is self aware, rational, volitional, has emotions, and is able to act. (God said "Let there be light"; and there was light." afterall.net My point is very simple. If you believe that there is a Creator then you are by definition some kind of Creationist. No big deal and certainly nothing you need to be ashamed of.
