If you paid attention to what I said, I said that MS _did_ make changes so Java apps would only run on Windows, but did _not_ make changes that prevented other Java apps from running on Windows. Big difference. Pay attention.

By not including JNI and RMI they are preventing apps written on non-Microsoft versions of JDK 1.1 from running on their JVM.
Also, and I haven't tested this, but by adding methods to a class,
you may interfere with serializability.

Don't kid yourself into thinking you are more informed on this issue than I am.

Let's stick to what we put on the screen rather than our resumes, ok?
