Obama saved us from the Bush Depression. He was quicker off the mark and more successful than FDR, heading off the Bush Depression before it really ever got started. Had he not done so, not only OUR economy, but the entire global economy, would have collapsed.

Bush helped, KNEW that this disaster had occurred on his watch, but mainly helped by stepping back and shutting up. He couldn't blame this one on Clinton. Letting his economic guys run the show.

It would have been MUCH worse than the Great Depression, because so many more people live in cities now. They can't really eat out of their garden, and were totally dependent on their job for sustenance.

Then why did Bush et al tell Congress that the financial system was in free fall?

You would say anything, anytime to support your party. You have zero credibility.
