I think GM and Chrysler each had one car in the top ten. Think about it.......here are two American companies with only ONE car each in the top ten of their primary market, the US of A, their home country. Think about it, Hugh, because it speaks volumes!

Your problem is you tried to think. In December of 08 there were 4 top ten best selling vehicles between these companies, 3 GM and 1 Chrysler. With Ford added there was half with US companies, This was typical when they were making money as well. Though Chrysler would often have two cars. If you consider that most Toyota's and Honda's are made in this country then almost all of the top ten sellers are made in this country. You need to stop thinking.

Now that you bring it up, Ford had only one car in the top ten, yet they managed to avoid bankruptcy. I don't think Mr. Cole had anything to do with that. A company with any cars in the top ten best selling vehicles should be able to make a profit with good management, VS a union welfare program.

So now you're agreeing with me that unions are the reason American car quality sucks?
