i have these two stupid birds that keep flying into my windows thinking they are each other or someone else or who knows. they've been doing it for two weeks now. and its all the windows. they get tired of trying to meet the bird in the front, so they fly to back and try again. then the sides of the house and so on and so on. sometimes they grab onto a screen as if they're thinking it through, and then boom, back to beating their heads against the other imaginery birds. bang boom, all day long. like the fable, rolling the ball up hill and never quite getting to the top. i think, will they eventually come to some greater understanding? Will i see it happen, and watch a miracle take place? or will they take a flying leap across the sky and zoom in one last time and break their necks like some of the even less smarter birds who die in front of my house?

fucking birds must have come here from washington d.c. or california. what's the difference?
