"You never ASKED directly about God creating the universe.."

Sure I did. I simply added the qualifier "personal" because you gave indications that you held an sub biblical view of the nature of God.

"Ummm, you mean this post?"

Ummm, yes. The timing proves that you lied when you claimed I never responded to your question. In fact I answered right away.

"<Catholics believe in the Trinity...> that is not called a 'personal creator God'... it's the Holy Trinity. It may include YOUR personal creator God, I don't know, you haven't described him."

More word games. The Trinity is held by all Christian denominations. It's not "MY" personal God: it's what all orthodox Christians believe about the nature of God. In fact a denial of the Trinity is considered to a heresy by Catholics and Protestants alike.

If you want to know about the Trinity a definition is not hard to find. Here's a good one. With an added clarification on what it means to say that God is personal vintage.aomin.org

"It is necessary here to distinguish between the terms "being" and "person." It would be a contradiction, obviously, to say that there are three beings within one being, or three persons within one person. So what is the difference? We clearly recognize the difference between being and person every day. We recognize what something is, yet we also recognize individuals within a classification. For example, we speak of the "being" of man---human being. A rock has "being"---the being of a rock, as does a cat, a dog, etc. Yet, we also know that there are personal attributes as well. That is, we recognize both "what" and "who" when we talk about a person.

What is personality? The ability to have emotion, will, to express oneself. Rocks cannot speak. Cats cannot think of themselves over against others, and, say, work for the common good of "cat kind." Hence, we are saying that there is one eternal, infinite being of God, shared fully and completely by three persons, Father, Son and Spirit. One what, three who's."

"How can I possibly tell you I believe in "a personal creator god" when the Trinity is so complex, and in fact not "a" personal creator God? Don't mean to be a jerk, but YOU brought all this up... I don't know your God, or your meaning of him."

You don't need to have extensive knowledge of electricity to know that when you flip a light switch, the light goes on. Neither do you need to be omniscient to know that Christians worship Jesus as God, that Jesus is a person and that He spoke to God the Father in terms that make it clear that the Father is also a person. Likewise the Holy Spirit is also referenced by Jesus as a person. I was pretty clear, in fact, clear enough that any reasonable person would know what I was talking about. Namely; that Christians maintain that the Godhead is personal in that the Trinity is one being shared by three persons. You have known that from the start, but are just being, as you put it; a jerk. Now you are saying you have no trouble with the doctrine of the Trinity, which by definition, maintains that God is personal. This proves that you are not a serious seeker of truth but just want to play word games.

"isn't evolution simply Gods way of creating?"

I don't see any evidence from scripture or science that would lead me to think that is the case.
