Nobody could read the bill if he tried. Boehner tried, and spent an hour explaining how everybody in America would now need a Federal energy audit of their house before and after any renovations, and other innovations buried in the amendment.

But there is no text for the whole bill, because the Dem leadership dumped a 300 page amendment of changes and corrections onto a 1200 page bill at 3:00 AM Friday morning. So the corrected text does not exist anywhere, and no one can have read it.

This is pure arrogance among the Dem leadership. Hopefully they will pay for it in the not too distant future. I am sure that even those who voted for the measure are none too happy about being ordered to buy a pig in a poke by their leadership.
