What passes as puffery it is no less the discovery that the periphery was, for centuries, intimidated in believing that they should read by the text book of the center.

That deals away with the puffery thing. (I will come back to it).

Now for the constrains thing.

Degrees of freedom are escalated by chnages on the dynamics of the power within those societies and those freedoms only come upon being in a particular society if there is a change on that very same dynamic of power.

That means the economic conditions the power. Because those in power -to survive- adapt to the new situation. A proof of that is that once a middle class emerges, out of the door disappears the draconian measures that were imposed on the poor mass of shirtless.

I will make this very clear for you. On rich countries, the limits on freedom imposed on those socities -said to be free- is put upon them by doling out benefits in terms of welfarism.
With the goal of the members of those societies accept limitations since they see they are gaining something in exchange for those freedoms they gave up.

Now you are saying that is a quality that one has to ascribe to a benefit? That a benefit should come to a certain source to be accepted?

You say there is someone out there that holds the monopoly of demand? And that demand is given donated to some other countries and they should be gratefull for that demand?

Well, I don't think so. Let's look at the record. We took a jungle and in 500 years got a brand new society in the tropics. Without no ship loads of scientists. Without no ship loads of educated people. We took the bottom of the barrel of any country that could full the ship, the Japanese Okinawa, the blacks and the Mediterranen that could not be accept in the US.

And we did. I am not say it is perfect, neither saying it could have been done better. Perhaps it could. But we do not have to say thank you to anyone. The day you find how any brand new society created in the tropics to compare with us, we can talk about it again.

Now that we are done with it, we only do not want to enjoy the ride we want, to show everything that was put on our way, and want everyone to hear about it. So, for instance, if there is a crisis, we even tell the color of the eyes of the guys who created it.

If there is a mechanism, say like the IMF, which was said to be the one who knew how things were to be done, we don't want to close their doors. No. We want to take it over and tell how it is done.

This is just the end of the beginning... How it will proceed from here on? Let's just say, the dynamics of power is not called dynamics for nothing...
