In order for electric vehicles to become cost competitive within 15 years, we need to invest and drive the tech to scale starting now. Things don't improve based on wishful thinking. They improve through investment. Thankfully, most major car manufacturers are already moving in this direction and we have an administration that looks far into the future and is investing in the things we need to get us there. So it will happen. I wouldn't be saying that if people like you were in charge, because you'd do all in your power to make sure we never invested in this kind of thing, which means we'd never get there. And all along, you'd be saying we can invest in it when it become cost competitive. You need to invest in the chicken before you get the egg, but with your myopic views, you'd make sure we never invested in the chicken to get the process started.
