I am in agreeement with you that there is little way around increasing taxes as part of the solution to budgetary shortfalls. However this is not a good thing, albeit it necessary at this time. Taxes in emergency situations is a far cry from raising taxes for new spending. I am have been very liberal so far in following the admins interpetation of events. But just so you know, it wont take much for me to reverse my position and say enough is enough. Folks are suffering out there and when does the cure become worse than the disease is my question. Again, i am still onboard the obama train but that train can be derailed if current quick fix taxes become institutionalized and begin to choke off new investments. Fine line.

Has to be a balance BUT it never seems to be addressed on the SPENDING end of the equation.

Looks like the anti-tax nuts are succeeding in starving their governments. Third world here we come...

Pathetic.......and the Rs couldn't be happier. And look who their governors are.......nutcases like Palin and Sanford. Maybe its always been like this and we never noticed.
