Choose to ignore the facts? Then there is no point debating this. The death penalty is definitely a deterrent. Singapore proves it. Anyway drug dealers deserve to die in my opinion. Some peoples kids simply do not have the right to occupy space on this planet and ruin life for the rest of us. I wish Canada would bring it back and start in Surrey

Sorry - I didn't mean to say wrong, but all the talk about the DP without mentioning education prompted me to post. It's all about balance in the long run.

Now if we eliminated all current taxes and migrated to single consumption tax model, all offenders, good or bad, would pay their fair share of tax and I would be silent on the issue :-o
