And there are many American who want a theocracy here. They might not have something as codified as sharia, but they want the law of the land to be based on god's law, as they see it. I agree. India has an enormous Muslim population who live within a non-sharia land. The Muslims in India can seek justice under the Sharia law in India. India has the regular court system as well as the Islamic court system. I know Muslims in India who have more than one wife, legally. (Not cheating. That is left to Sanford, Edwards etc.)
