So you would sell a stock that you felt (in the short term)would go up (even though you have cash to cover the call)?

Jimbo: on online trading would the margin call show up or do I have to call them? (academic at the moment because my stocks went back up, enough anyway not to worry about margin calls.)
I agree, that pumping more cash in is foolish in these circumstances.
