It wouldn't surprise me. She may do something related to children, especially Downs kids.

Letterman mocking her 14 yo daughter. Goofball photos of Trigg.

The left can be proud of themselves.

"I suspect Palin is going to walk away from Politics completely. The Left has won." So says Lindy.

I don't agree with you Lindy.

I think that Sarah is merely clearing the decks so that she can launch a move designed to provide a demoralized Republican Party with an effective voice and a focused leadership.

She knows that she will be more successful at this if she is free from the burden of running a state government.

Now, she can begin the process of providing a true national voice of conservatism and responsible government to the American people. Sarah might think that she can serve the nation better as a vehicle, a focus, to bring the country back to its senses before it is too late.

No other Republican seems more likely to serve the cause better than an unleashed and unfettered Sarah Palin.

There is no way that she's quitting politics. If she were quitting, she'd serve out her term but not run for re-election.

She's paving the way for a run at the White House. Like Pat Buchanan, she's completely unelectable but doesn't know it.

Lots of us on the right don't care for her. It's not a simple left/right thing.

Not at all likely. Exception would be a health problem we don't yet know about.
