It probably would be a bit like Germany getting a nuclear bomb production line in 1933. Great Britain would have felt somewhat queasy at the prospect. France would have thought the Maginot line not such a great thing after all. Stalin would have paled. <A former head of research in Israeli intelligence told the Times that "the Saudis are very concerned about an Iranian nuclear bomb, even more than the Israelis." >

Come to think of it, there is quite a daisy chain of nukes in the area = Russia, North Korea, China, India, Pakistan. Iran is next in the chain.

It seems odd that Saudi Arabia would be more worried about Iranian nukes than Israel. There must be something I don't know about. I suppose it's the old Catholic vs Protestant thing. God can only be on one of their sides.

It's a bit like Wimbledon. Once the Catholics and Protestants have sorted out who has Go- on their side, and the Sunnis and Shiites have had their semi-finals, then the centre-court grand finale at Armageddon can be fought. It should be best out of five.

Raid Is On
Sunday, July 5, 2009

Saudi Arabia will let Israeli jets use its airspace to fly and bomb the Iranian regime's nuke making facilities:

"The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia."

Coupled with the Iranian people's anti-regime uprisings in the past few weeks, this could be the end of the crazy criminals in Tehran. I don't think people would get behind a regime that showed no mercy to them when they came to the streets to protest peacefully. A little push from the outside can topple the mullahs once and for all.

>>'Saudis would let IAF jets fly over kingdom on Iran mission'<<

Quite interesting that this news comes from the JPost rather than Debka. Sounds to me like Israel is ratcheting up the psych war against Iran, hoping to peel away further support from the hardliners. Lots of folks in Iran would prefer not to get bombed by Israel.
