There is no comparison between what Sarah Palin has gone through and any other politician. The attacks from Democratic party members has been vicious, cruel, ugly and totally uncalled for. From the baby is not hers, to ridiculous ethics charges, to burning books and dozens of other assaults on her family, the classless nature of the Democratic party has been on display for all to see. I could never be part of such nasty people who group together for ugly sport of this nature, but many seem to cling to it and get a lot of enjoyment out of it seeing a decent person running for office attacked and defamed. The vision they have of a socialist utopia, in which anyone who threatens it is "taken care of" in the most vile way, is not a vision I can support. As the Huffington Post and Josh Marshall website demonstrated yesterday, their ugly claws are out and ready to pounce on Palin in the nastiest way to remove the threat from their beloved Messiah forever. Religious fanatics have a lot in common with these people. One group may come from academia, and the other from the back-woods, but their close minded blind allegiance is the same nevertheless. Nothing must stand in the way of instituting the far left liberal agenda of Obama. Nothing.... And we'll destroy whoever gets in our way. This is the tone they've set in Washington. This is the tone of the Democratic party, who has absolute control of government today.
