You've got to be kidding. You must have missed what the right did to Obama. "He's a secret Muslim", "He is a foreign alien", and blah de blad de blah. The stuff from the right was endless, and stupid. But since you probably agreed with it, no doubt you didn't notice. What Palin "has gone through" is very little (since she didn't stick around very long- as you said, she only ran for a few months). And if she can't stand the heat, she shouldn't be in the fire.

Whoops, after reading the remainder of the messages after this one, I see that it's useless and irrelevant. All the points are well made. I'll leave it up. But . . . There is no comparison between what Sarah Palin has gone through and any other politician. Michael, it's clear, once again, you are not here for serious conversation but rather as a provocateur. So I try to ignore all your stuff. But there are times something needs to be said about the absolutely absurd nature of the factual claims you make. 1. The charges leveled against Obama were very serious. More serious than those against Palin, and more outrageous. Not a citizen, a Muslim, only wanted to be a celebrity, a terrorist friend of Bill Ayers, and so on. All wrong but flagged repeatedly by his political opponents. 2. The entire impeachment brouha against Clinton in the 90s was far and away the most flagrant attack on any politician in my lifetime. Your comments about the attacks on Palin being the worst without any argument for that are simply wrong.

From the baby is not hers, to ridiculous ethics charges, to burning books and dozens of other assaults on her family, the classless nature of the Democratic party has been on display for all to see. You have forgotten the attacks on triple Vietnam amputee Sen. Max Cleland. Your boys, patriots all, I'm sure, branded him unAmerican and a terrorism supporter. You guys have such short memories. Sorry, silly me, I forgot; Republicans never make any mistakes.
