Dale, trust me, the left will be living with the Palin legacy for many years, whether she returns to politics or not, not the other way around. Years from now, whenever the left complains about the tone in Washington, or treatment of someone running for office, "Palin" will be the response.

Rumors became major news stories. Innuendo substituted as fact and children of the candidate under microscopic assault. Children for goodness sake!

There is nothing routine about the way the media went after Governor Palin, and anyone who truly believes otherwise is simply not being objective, nor balanced. Sarah Palin was regarded as a moderate in Alaskan politics. She debated well, handled herself in public with professionalism and appeared to genuinely care about people. She is simply a threat to the hard left, because of it, Big Media, (which polls show over 90% are members of the Democratic party), took her apart with ridiculously biased news stories.
