They know they can hurt people financially and professionally and they have no pride. You don't see any of them apologizing and you won't. They will just dig for more or make more up.

People are frightened of that which they do not understand and cannot control. Good looking, successful, high achieving, self confident and moral people confuse and frighten them.

The left is going nuts - Why?

Of course they post such things.

Do you remember the picture of the woman lobbyist that was photoshopped and appeared on the other Obama site rather early in Obama's campaign in an attempt to damage McCain through innuendo?

That photo was a lie-------after McCain's campaign she filed a lawsuit in the state of Virginia. I don't know what has happened. I don't know if there were monetary awards or if the people who photoshopped the pictures were called by the courts or not.

All the left needs to do is plant either a big lie like the photoshopped picture was or to make an innuendo as has happened against Sarah Palin.

Palin is an intelligent woman. No one becomes Governor of Alaska or any other state without knowing that you don't let those kinds of allegations simmer.

The FBI has refuted these rumors and done so immediately.

Of course these urban legends of the left will persist and will require constant batting down whether Sarah Palin is the target or another moderate American is the target.

Huffpo Writer: Palin to Run on Retardation Platform
George Joyce
July 04, 2009
americanthinker.com

July 3, a Huffington Post writer named Erik Sean Nelson posted an essay with the following title:

"Palin Will Run in '12 on More Retardation Platform"

In the article Nelson says that Palin "will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people." In an obvious reference to Palin's son Trig, who has Downs Syndrome, Nelson further speculated on what Palin could achieve as president:

"Her policies will increase jobs because Wal-Mart is building new stores each day and someone has to be the greeter."

Nelson continues:

"She will then encourage women to hold off on pregnancies until their 40's just to mix up some chromosomes."

Thanks to an avalanche of immediate criticism from our friends over at Free Republic the Huffington Post has removed Nelson's pathetic and disgusting attempt at political humor. While the Huffington Post bills Nelson as someone who writes for "several comedy websites" their decision to post his offensive essay should have tremendous negative repercussions in the coming days and weeks.

The coming storm soon to engulf the Huffington Post will also stir up memories of President Obama's casual insult to Special Olympians on the Tonight Show back in March. Compassionate leftists, in other words, are about to have their cover blown.

The Huffington Post has crossed a very dangerous line by posting the Nelson essay. With Obama's poll numbers dropping and his foreign and domestic policies facing mounting criticism the last thing Obama needs right now is to be identified with his adolescent supporters over at the Huffington Post.

A final thought: the continuing liberal assault on Sarah Palin and her family will backfire with American voters. It will also make Sarah Palin as tough as nails in 2012.
