It's a balancing act for oil companies. If I were in their finance department, I'd think about balancing how much we sell today to bring in a nice profit for shareholders, versus how much we hold in the ground for when prices are higher. They can use it to ensure profits for a very long time. Hell, I'm sure they've already thought of it and are doing it. They'd be fools if they weren't.

As far as comic books, don't think I hadn't thought of it! He cleared $5,000 this year from comic books he paid a fraction of that for. He made more from comic books than he did from his job. If I knew comic books were so profitable, I'd have put my money in them last year. Go figure. They always say do what you love and you'll make money. :)
