Yes, during each prior cycle under Greenspan we were quite
aggressive in finding yet another bubble to inflate. The
imbalances were never allowed to clear. As it stands here and
now, the credit bubble exceeds anything known in prior history,
although I concur, the Japanese Real estate was extremely bubbly
in the early 90-s, with the land under the Emperor's palace worth
more than California.

FWIW, it could be that way again, soon, but not because the
land prices in Japan are inflating <G>
